Your DJ Fell Through. Your Wedding Won't.

When your entertainment cancels, stops answering, or just isn't going to work out, Wedding Rescue steps in, picks up where things left off, and gets your night back on track.

A letter from James.

If you're reading this because your DJ canceled, stopped responding, or left you wondering what happens next, I want you to know something first: I understand why you're stressed. You weren't supposed to be dealing with this.

You already did the work. You found someone. You made a decision. You signed a contract. You may have already paid hundreds or even thousands of dollars. And now, somehow, you're being asked to figure it all out again.

That's exactly why I created Wedding Rescue. I don't want you to feel like you have to start your wedding over just because someone else didn't follow through.

If you've already paid another DJ, show me. Send over the contract, invoice, and proof of payment. Let me see where things were left. My team and I will look at what you already planned, what you were promised, and what you've already invested before we talk about what comes next.

Because the goal here isn't to take advantage of the fact that you're in a difficult situation. The goal is to get your wedding back on track.

I also know there's probably another question sitting in the back of your mind: "How do I know this won't happen again?" That's a fair question. You don't know me yet.

So I'm not asking you to blindly trust me because there's a nice website in front of you. I'm asking you to tell me what happened. Let me understand the situation first. Then we can figure out whether ECHON is the right team to step in and help.

Your wedding should be something you're excited about again, not another problem you're trying to solve. Tell me what happened. We'll start there.

Life happens. We're here for it.

  • They canceled. Your DJ or entertainer backed out, and now you need a solution fast.
  • Communication stopped. You can't get a response and don't know where things stand.
  • Plans changed. The original plan won't work anymore, and you need a new one.
  • Getting close. The wedding is coming up fast, and key pieces still aren't locked in.
  • Not feeling it. You realized late that it's not the right fit for your day.

A clear path forward.

  1. Tell us what happened. Share your date, venue, and whatever's already booked — you don't need it all figured out, just let us know where things stand.
  2. We personally review what can be saved. Our team goes through your timeline, your music plans, and your vendor contacts to find everything that's still in place for you.
  3. You'll know exactly what's next. You'll get off the call with real peace of mind — a clear plan for what we're handling, and when.

Our goal is simple: give you clarity, take the stress off your plate, and protect your day.

We step into the wedding you've already planned.

We work with what you already have. We go through your timeline, keep what's working, fill in what's missing, and build a full entertainment experience around it. You don't start over.

  • Review and refine your existing timeline and music plans
  • Coordinate directly with your venue and other vendors
  • Professional MC services to keep the night moving
  • Full coverage for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
  • Premium sound, lighting, and backup equipment on every job

Wedding Rescue, explained.

What to know about eligibility, documentation, previous payments, and what happens next.

Who qualifies for Wedding Rescue?

Wedding Rescue is for couples whose entertainment fell through, whether a DJ or band canceled, stopped responding, or can no longer fulfill what was promised. Every request is reviewed individually, based on your circumstances, our availability, and the documentation you're able to provide. Submitting a request doesn't guarantee acceptance, but it does get your situation in front of us so we can tell you where things stand.

How does ECHON honor what I've already paid?

We review the payments you made to your original provider as part of your request. When those payments can be verified through documentation, we may recognize and apply them toward your Wedding Rescue booking. We can't promise a dollar-for-dollar credit in every case, but we take a close look at what you've already invested and factor it into what we offer.

What documentation do I need to provide?

To review your request, we typically ask for:

  • Your original signed contract or service agreement
  • Your original invoice
  • Proof of payment
  • Documentation of the services you originally booked

If we need anything else to complete our review, we'll let you know.

What counts as proof of payment?

Proof of payment can include:

  • Payment receipts
  • Credit or debit card transaction records
  • Bank transaction records
  • Payment platform confirmations (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and similar)
  • Invoice payment confirmations
  • Other documentation that reasonably verifies payment

We only need enough to verify what was paid. You don't need to share more sensitive banking information than that.

What if I paid my DJ but don't have proof?

You can still submit a request, and we'll do our best to work with what you have. That said, payments we can't verify can't be treated as confirmed prior payment under Wedding Rescue. If you're able to track down any documentation, even partial, it helps us give you a clearer answer.

Do I have to purchase the same services I originally booked?

No. We review your original contract alongside your current plans and what your wedding actually needs now. Wedding Rescue isn't a copy of another company's package. It's built around what makes sense for your day and what we can responsibly provide.

Does submitting a Wedding Rescue request mean I'm automatically accepted?

No. Every request goes through a review. We look at your wedding date, our availability, location, timing, the scope of service you need, your documentation, and whether we can operationally deliver. We know that's a lot to think about given everything you're already handling, but it's how we make sure we can actually follow through on what we offer you.

What happens after I submit my Wedding Rescue request?

Once you submit a request, here's what happens:

  1. We review your wedding information.
  2. We review your contract, invoice, and payment documentation.
  3. We evaluate our availability and the services you need.
  4. If your wedding qualifies, we lay out a clear path forward and the next steps to get you booked.

How close to my wedding can I request Wedding Rescue?

There's no fixed cutoff. Requests closer to the wedding date depend more heavily on our availability, logistics, staffing, and equipment, as well as how much planning time we have to work with. The sooner you reach out, the more options we typically have, but we review every request regardless of timing.

What happens if I later receive a refund from my original DJ or entertainment company?

If you receive a refund, chargeback, reimbursement, insurance recovery, settlement, or any other money-back related to your original payment, you'll need to let us know. Recovered funds may affect how your prior payment is treated under Wedding Rescue, so keeping us informed helps us keep your account accurate.

You don't have to solve everything tonight.

Start by telling us what happened and what's already in place. We'll take it from there.
